End-User License Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Translation Live ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Translation Live is a real-time multilingual meeting translation platform that provides:

• Live transcription of spoken content
• Real-time translation into multiple languages
• Text-to-speech audio output for translated content
• Secure meeting access via security codes

3. User Roles and Access

The Service supports different user roles:

• Account Holders: Authenticated users who create and manage meetings, customers, and billing.
• Hosts: Users who access the host interface via a security code to broadcast audio and control meeting settings.
• Attendees: Users who view real-time transcripts and translations, with optional security code access.

4. Billing and Pricing

Usage is billed on a per-minute basis:

• Text-only translation: Charged per minute when the host is connected and broadcasting.
• Voice translation: Additional charges apply when attendees activate text-to-speech audio output.

Invoices are generated automatically and may be synchronized with QuickBooks for accounting purposes. You are responsible for paying all charges associated with your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Share security codes with unauthorized individuals
• Record or redistribute meeting content without proper authorization

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Translation Live and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Transcripts and translations generated during your meetings remain your intellectual property.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Meeting transcripts may be automatically deleted based on your settings. The automatic cleanup feature, when enabled, removes transcripts 8 hours after the last activity. You may also manually delete transcripts at any time through the host interface.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Inaccuracies in transcription or translation
• Loss of data or content
• Unauthorized access to your meetings
• Service interruptions or technical issues

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Translation Live and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
